We offer flat rates that are determined by revenue. We do not charge based on the number of transactions or invoices you upload to your account.

Pricing levels are established by annual run rate and may be modified quarterly if your company is rapidly expanding. All costs are based on fiscal years, and all contracts are annual.

For an additional 10% per month, you can elect to pay for the Monthly plan on a monthly basis rather than annually. For instance, the £100 monthly fee that is billed annually will be converted to a £110 monthly fee. The first month is free for new Monthly plan with annual billing sign-ups.

Counto is a tax agent, bookkeeper, and financial advisor. Counto’s accounting software is proprietary. Counto will set up a transfer from the general ledger of Counto to your Xero/QuickBooks account if you are using legacy software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks and wish to preserve your account. If you decide to close your Counto account, you can save and migrate your data to another accounting software.

An in-house accountant may be responsible for much more than just accounting and, on occasion, taxes. Your accountant will save at least 10 days each month by having Counto handle these tasks. Furthermore, our strategy of combining AI and humans reduces errors and frees up nearly a week’s worth of your accountant’s time for other important tasks.

Your annual Self Assessment tax return must be submitted to HMRC by 31 January each year.

Sole traders can claim back any expenses incurred as long as they are allowable expenses. For example, if your mobile phone bill for the year is £100 but you only spend £50 on business calls. Therefore, you can only claim £50 of business expenses.
